Building on the core pillars for economic growth and job creation cited in the GBC’s Gaining a Competitive Edge report, the GBC will engage in broadened, comprehensive advocacy for competitiveness, focusing on issues that impact a competitive business environment in Maryland including:

Support creative solutions to break the stalemate in Annapolis over funding transportation infrastructure. The GBC will also work to support the strengthening commuter rail, intercity passenger rail serving Baltimore, freight rail and port capabilities.
